About the azcarguide bot

A small, honest inventory bot. No user data. No advertising. No form submissions.

Identity

azcarguide.org runs a small inventory bot that reads public new-vehicle listings from AutoNation Nissan Chandler. Its purpose is to surface 3-card vehicle recommendations to ASU/GCU students and their families, after their household budget passes the 20/4/10 rule. The bot does NOT scrape user data, does NOT advertise, and does NOT submit forms.

How it identifies itself

Every request the bot makes carries this User-Agent header so the source site can identify, log, or block it at will:

azcarguide-bot/1.0 (+https://azcarguide.org/about-bot; sanctioned scrape; contact hello@azcarguide.org)

Cadence

Scheduled refresh every 12 hours at 00:01 and 12:01 America/Phoenix time (MST, no DST). Manual refresh available to the operator via GitHub Actions workflow_dispatch. The bot honors a 50-mile radius from operator's home store.
